Welcome!

Well we are coming up to our first anniversary on the closure of the plant in Waterford. 26th June 2015. It's been a relatively short year and from what I gather everyone is in good shape and those who wanted to work again have acquired employment. I was contemplating on getting rid of the rest of the prose on this page but then I said "NO" leave as is. A bit like the LPT and the dreaded "Irish Water" hahaha.

So to all "Enjoy the rest of Summer" and to my amazement a beautiful day in and around the coast or hills of Waterford is as good a place to be as anywhere in the country and lots of other countries besides.

I have received a lot of new pics and have had them for sometime. I have had difficulties in getting photos to digital format as my scanner has been out of action. However, all is OK again and these new pics are uploaded now. Thks for your patience and if you do have any snippets of old & not so old nostalgic items from your time spent here,then get in touch and I will put them up on the site.

This site contains pictures from Measurex Irl, later known as Honeywell measurex Irl and finally being called Honeywell Process Solutions. The company has been operating out of Waterford for the past 35 Years and to mark this ocassion a BBQ was held at Faithlegg House Golf Club on Saturday night last 14th June. This setting proved to be exceptional and we had an almighty night - great craic was had by all. The pictures you see in the "Slide Show" were displayed at the event and are a sample of what is available after 35Yrs, however, it was impossible to display all pictures and this was the sample set selected for the evening.
We are very keen on having more pictures from company events, so if you have anything please fwd it to us. Initial contact can be done through the "Contact" link on the navigation bar.

"PictureGallery" will be available once we can determine how we can display/select in excess 1.5K pictures. This is not an easy task on a freebie site - so stay tuned to see how we do. This is still a WIP.

 Anyway news has broken that the plant will close next year - so finally we come to the end of a fabulous experience short of 42yrs and along the way met and worked with some great intelligent / smart people. Sure where would you get it - working on the technology greats of our time !!!!!
